About Us
Meet the Team
Lauren Hadden, Au.D.
Audiology is a field of healthcare often overlooked, and one which encompasses many facets of a person’s life. Enabling our patients to reconnect with their family, hobbies, and interests … and being an integral part in this process is very special to me as an audiologist. This is why I love my job. After seeing my grandmother struggle with hearing loss throughout her life — I was inspired by her experience to help others gain a stronger sense of independence.
Going to the doctor should be a comfortable experience, and my goal is to ensure that it is both enjoyable and meaningful. I pride myself in providing superior service and going above and beyond to meet the needs of our patients. I have moved to the Asheville area to align myself with others that share my passion for improving lives and striving to be the best providers in our field. And I am thrilled to be a part of a practice where the primary goal is our patient’s success and satisfaction.

Sound is everywhere, and each person’s perception of a seemingly similar sound can be monumentally different. I believe this differentiation gives us a sense of individuality, a sort-of unique quality that allows a group of people to relate to one another while still cherishing sound in their own way.
Conversation, humor, sharing ideas through speech and music have been such a large part of my upbringing. Listening to my father sing as a child or my mother lecture her students are formative memories that have molded my ideals and interests. Chord progressions ringing through auditoriums and their direct impact on my opinions and taste were solely reliant on my ability to hear.
The realization that people, often those close to us, lose their unique ability to communicate and express emotions as hearing declines is such a melancholy notion; however, the capacity to correct this deficiency is truly a blessing for practitioners and patients alike.
Assisting patients in their efforts to regain their sense of hearing, a sense that has been so paramount in every facet of my life is truly my passion. Allowing individuals to once again connect with loved ones and the world around them is a gift I’m exceedingly grateful for each morning…after my coffee, of course.

I've always known that a caring profession was something I needed in a career and pursuing my Doctorate in Audiology was that perfect fit. I always want to practice empathy in understanding where you are coming from and what you are looking for. Seeking out better hearing is ultimately your decision and success is based on being educated in your options, my expertise, and follow up to hone that choice for your daily needs. I want to meet you where you are in that decision making process and encourage you to ask questions, be involved, and never accept less than you deserve from any hearing healthcare provider.
I am blessed to be surrounded by my supportive friends and family in everything that I do. I enjoy quilting and being barefoot in my garden as much as possible in my free time.
