When I called to make an appointment, they said they could fit me in that same afternoon. I was emailed the new patient forms to fill out before I came in. At the appointment time, I turned in my forms and waited less than 5 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and efficient.

They are the best in town! Professional staff, appointment on time, efficient, and super nice. The office is clean and fairly modern testing equipment, parking is great…overall if you need a hearing test this is the place to go.

My experience today at The Hearing Center was excellent. Protocol for protection from the COVID virus was well established. The results from my hearing test was explained very clearly.

They are quite simply the best at what they do. Barbara in particular is wonderful and understanding. They honestly care about your hearing and take the time to listen and help in anyway they can. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I was very impressed with my visit to the Hearing Center of Asheville, NC. My doctor, Dr. Potter, was not only very professional but also very personal. He made me feel comfortable before and during my examination. The practice appeared very up-to-date, and the hearing tests more comprehensive than I had experienced before. The results were discussed immediately, and it was great to hear (no pun intended) that my hearing was that of an person my age with a good hearing system. No immediate action was recommended, except to do the test annually, which I right for my age. I can highly recommend both the Center, and especially Dr. Potter.

I had hearing aids at a place that was fairly inexpensive. They were very unsatisfactory and even though the insurance wouldn't cover another pair I decided to get better ones. D . Hamilton did a thorough test. He did did not push for the very expensive ones. It took some weeks of adjusting and they are great. The staff is wonderful and will get you in as soon as possible. The warranty is fantastic and they make sure you come in on a regular basis. Nothing but good things to say. Back again, my right hearing aid stopped working and they got me in that afternoon. Broke my hearing aid. My fault, they are overnighted it to the lab and they say it will be back in 7 days. I'll let you know how long it really takes.

Dr. Hamilton was excellent and very thorough and patient and explained everything in understandable terms. Even though I showed signs of some hearing loss there was no pressure to purchase a hearing aid. I had another concern that he gladly agreed to look into and get back with me. It was a very good experience and i highly recommend them for hearing issues.

These people are so nice and so professional. I purchased my hearing aids from them 2 years ago, and have been so impressed with their follow-through after the sale! I went in for my check-up this week and they cleaned my hearing aids, replaced the maintenance parts, and even pulled a rather large piece of wax from my right ear!

Great Service. I can actually hear stuff like the TV without blowing everybody away. Than you all.
I wanted to tell you that your care for me was truly great – Dr. Hamilton’s patience, Barbara’s good instructions, the office women always cheerful and welcoming.
While I did decide to not continue with the use of hearing aids at this time, I hope you will keep my records - - - because I would like to return at a later date once my other health issues are in better shape. Hopefully I will get to a time when I too can be patient---and be able to work with you to see if the noise levels I could not handle could be tweaked so as to no longer present a problem for me.
In the meantime, I wanted to say thank you for the work you did with me and say I would gladly give you the whole five stars for your help. The hearing aids were a great choice for me, however, the timing and learning curve while I am in other therapy was not.
I was not satisfied with my previous hearing aids that I purchased somewhere else. Dr. Hamilton has been great in helping me pick out my hearing aids and adjusting them to my needs. The staff is wonderful. Their warranty and service is great.
I was eager to acquire a new hearing aid to replace the one I had lost and made an appointment with the Hearing Center to see an Audiologist.
My appointment with Dr. Potter was EXCELLENT. He was obviously very knowledgeable in his profession ----discussing details of various makes of hearing aids vis a vis their ability to meet my needs, etc.
At that point I informed Dr. Potter that I will be moving far away from Asheville in one month and I expressed my concern as to being fitted and buying in Asheville and almost immediately leaving Asheville. Dr. Potter then continued in his quiet knowledgeable and thoughtful manner to address the concern I had expressed and, in summary, gave reasons for his belief that it would be best for me to enter the care of an Audiologist in my new home and make my purchase in that new place.
I am so grateful for Dr. Potter's sincere effort to advise me frankly and carefully. Dr. Potter is not only a fine Audiologist--he is also a man of integrity and concern for his patients.
While we were on vacation, my left hearing aid stopped working. On return, I called the Hearing Center and was able to come to the walk-in clinic today. Barbara discovered the problem fast, fixed it, and showed me how to do it myself if it happens again.
Everyone here is great. Much better than the audiologist I had before.
I found the Hearing Center to be a place you could trust, and Dr. Hadden worked very patiently with me. She was very caring in helping me to get the very best results in getting hearing aids. She also followed up to be sure I knew what to do in maintaining the best experience possible. I am sure they will help me if I have any problem with my hearing aids.
Dr. Hamilton was patient and caring in checking out my present condition and use of my hearing aids. He always helps with any questions I have, and always checks and this time replaced the wires on my aids. He is very competent in his field and I would recommend him to anyone. He is friendly and very comfortable to be with. I have been completely satisfied with him and his practice in superior care.

I have been wearing hearing aids for over 25 years and been to MANY Audiologists. Chris Hamilton is one of the best. Not pushy at all. He is the most detail orientated, patient person I know. I have had many issues with my hearing loss and told him from the very beginning that fitting me with hearing aids was not going to be easy. He said," I'm willing to try if you are:)"
We tried many brands of hearing aids back & forth MANY times until we got the right one for me. He's great.
I recommend him to anyone who is even thinking about hearing aids. The office staff is wonderful too.
I have been so happy and impressed with The Hearing Center. Dr Hamilton is so kind and gentle. He takes all the time you need when you are with him, you need feel rushed. I have been going there for 21 months now and I am very happy. I have been happy with my hearing aid. I wanted so badly to be able to wear the Lyric hearing aid but my ears had to have moisture. I am using the phonak hearing aid and I am happy with it. Go and see Dr. Hamilton, you will be glad you did. He and all his staff are very kind and professional. Thank you, Dr Hamilton.
